Have you thought about becoming a demonstrator? Who would you sign up with and why?
It is true that it is a good idea to sign up with a very successful demonstrator with a large team for help and support. These demonstrators work tirelessly and are only a phone call away when you need advice, encouragement or just a shoulder to lean on. When considering who to sign up with I would urge you to consider location. Will you be able to attend their training sessions? Would you be happy to only have telephone conference training? Would you not rather meet up with other demos on a face to face basis, swap cards and ideas, share stories of workshop nightmares/successes? Then consider finding a demonstrator who lives close to you, talk to her, find out her style and if that is compatible with your own, help her build a team and together you can go forward to success.

End of Stampin' Up! Year
The Stampin' Up! year ends on 30th September 2011. That means that this is the last month for ordering from this catalogue and the mini catalogue. Click on Say Goodbye on the right to see the list of retiring products, it can also be seen on http://www.stampinup.co.uk/ and there are some good bargains to be had. Check this list regularly throughout the month as it will be updated, orders can be made (stocks permitting) up to 7pm 30th September.
Christmas Card Club
The next set of cards from the Christmas Card Club.
Back Left - Very simple card using stamp from Season of Joy and Rich Razzleberry ink attached over 1.25" Rich Razzleberry grosgrain ribbon. Cardstock Whisper White.
Back Right - After stamping the tree we masked the tree and used the stamp-a-ma-jig to position Santa. Cardstock used was Garden Green, Real Red and Whisper White. Inks Used Garden Green, Real Red and Daffodil Delight. Unfortunately the two stamp sets used are no longer available. (A Holly Jolly Holiday and Wonderous Gift.)
Front Left - 2 minute card (or longer if you can't tie bows).
Wrapped candy cane with Real Red ribbon tied in a bow, adhered to the card with mini glue dots. Greeting stamped in Poppy Parade. Cardstock Poppy Parade and Whisper White.
It was suggested that this card could be altered for grumpy husband by changing cardstock to Basic Black and Very Vanilla, atttaching a Mint Humbug and handwriting Bah-Humbug with the black Journaling Pen (and no bow).
Front Right - Easel card. We made a mask to separate the foreground snow from the sky. The sky was created by using Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie and Real Red re-inkers on a baby wipe and applied to glossy card. Using the stamp-a-ma-jig we then stamped the trees in the background and the children with the sleigh. Then also using the stamp-a-ma-jig we created the shadow. Greeting was stamped, cut out and adhered to card with dimensionals. Cardstock used Whisper White, Basic Black, White Glossy Card. Images and greeting were stamped with Black Stazon Ink. Stamp set used was Welcome Christmas.
My thanks again to all who so generously share their work, some of which I have cased.
I can't beleive that we completed this class so much quicker than the last one - methinks that not using glitter may be the answer ...

Christmas Card Club
The Christmas Card Club got off to a good start with full attendance. There was a draw for a small prize, which was a two way glue and a pot of Dazzling Diamonds glitter. There was lots of laughter and sharing of ideas along with chocolate cake. I really enjoyed the evening and am looking forward to the next one. Four cards were made on the night and packs to make another set he same were taken home to complete. Eight cards ready for Christmas - I've never been so far ahead. Thank you all for coming and making this a success (and my dining room so glittery). As promised here are the cards we made
If you would like any furtther information please let me know/

Christmas Card Club
Just to let you know that the first meeting has been fully booked. I am really looking forward to this Thursday, and hopefully, getting the club off to a good start. I have the first four cards all prepared and packed up ready to go. The cards we are making will be posted later this week. Remember to book for future meetings. The next one will be held on Thursday 25th August and I will be starting to work on the cards very soon.
This club gives me a good excuse to start talking about Christmas, my husband often complains when I watch Christmas films in July and say things like "we could do that.." Anyway must go now and start looking out the CDs, (Edwin really will be pleased -" bah-humbug" I can just hear him now).
